I hate horses, but this is a really cool photograph. I like the mysterious and powerful air to it.

By Julio Cortez. It looks oddly like something out of a video-game to me. Even the composition seems so carefully-planned it looks quite unreal.

By Joseph Mills. I love the way the photo uses contrast to emphasize the little girl. The picture also has the nice sense of flow, which I find rare.

By Manuel Alvarez Bravo, who is also the subject of my artist presentation. Despite the unsavory nature of the photograph, it is strangely beautiful. It is haunting. 

Another from Ryan McGinley. It relies a bit heavily on colour, but I still like it.

The sky was grey and dreary from my vantage point, but the sun was shining on the apartment buildings down the street giving them this great orangey-gold colour. It was so beautiful. I wish I could've captured it better, but this was the best I could do.
